I spotted a friendly face in amongst a busy city crowd. "Anna" I yelled as I edged closer and reached her. She lifts her head and grins at me, which is when I lift my camera and hit the shutter.
This encounter, for me, summarises what I admire about the 'everyday' style of photography, why I shoot in such a way, and the decision to work in film.
